Tredington, Warwickshire

Tredington is a small village near Shipston-on-Stour in Warwickshire.

The village has a primary School, a church,[1] and a pub,[2] and it used to have a village shop although this is now closed.

The river Stour runs through Tredington and it was at this exact location where the UK's 2nd largest pike was caught by Geoff Crabtree weighing in a whopping 45lb 7oz.

Neighbouring villages include Ilmington and Halford.

The village church St.Gregory's has the tallest spire in Warwickshire and the front door shows bullet marks left over from the English Civil War
